Beck Engineering Partner in the Development of DNV Acoustic Inspection Technology
Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has joined with Gassco to develop a new acoustic inspection method which allows the internal and external status of gas pipelines to be accurately characterised. Beck Engineering AS has designed and built the electronic housing as well as the test-pig for this operation.
A second ROV-tool for SeaBed's CASE Abyss system was delivered in June 2009. SeaBed's ROV-operator Fugro now operates two ROV-tool systems from Beck Engineering.
